A Life Coach is a wellness professional who helps people take the initiative to make
meaningful and progressive change in their lives. Your coach helps you set meaningful
goals, develop a plan of action, and receive honest feedback to keep your development on
track – to enable you to improve your quality of life and achieve your goals.

A Life Coach provides non-judgemental support to get you to have an honest discussion
about your life goals and how you want to achieve them. They will help you overcome or
reframe your limiting beliefs, assumptions, and interpretations that stunt your personal
growth. A Life Coach helps you take action to move forward with your goals and help you
quiet your inner-critic.

Counsellors, psychiatrists, and psychologists help clients manage mental illness, which
coaches do not do. Therapy has a greater focus on the past and helps clients figure out why
something happened. Alternatively, a coach helps clients focus on living in the present and
work towards a brighter future. Life coaching is not a substitute for professional mental and
medical care.

Consultants are experts in certain fields and come to their clients with answers, telling them
what to do. Coaches also have specializations, but their real expertise is in the coaching
process. The coach sees the client as the expert and knows they have the answers within
themselves, no matter the situation. Similar to a consultant, a coach may suggest new ideas
based on their experience, knowledge, and intuition. However, with coaching, it is the client
who is in control and ultimately responsible for all of their decisions.

A Health Coach specializes in working with people who are committed to creating a healthier
lifestyle. With the help of a coach, you will identify areas of your health to improve in a
practical, stepwise, and sustainable way. Working with a Health Coach you will develop a
plan of action and set your own health goals in a safe and non-judgemental environment.

A Life Coach will help you overcome or reframe your limiting beliefs, assumptions, and
interpretations that are no longer serving you. You and your Life Coach will work together to
propel you forward toward your goals.

You can expect to openly discuss your vision for your life, the barriers that you want to
overcome, and how you want to get there in a non-judgemental and safe space. The
coaching process will help support you on your personal development journey to help build
the confidence you need to face the challenges in your life. Your coach is motivated to help
you self-improve, stay motivated, and prosper!

Mindfulness is being aware of the present moment, while taking notice of your senses and
feelings without judgement. It can be practiced as a form of meditation to help you better
manage your feelings. However, its main purpose is to help you become and remain
grounded in reality to face whatever life brings your way.

THE BOOKING PROCESS

To start the process, complete the form on the contact page with your email, phone number
and a short message to introduce yourself. We will contact you by email to answer your
question or schedule your free video consultation. If we have the right coach to help you with
your life goals, we will book your first session following our free consultation.

It is preferred that payment is made via e-transfer prior to your scheduled session.

A monthly payment plan is available for clients booking multiple sessions in advance.

We have terms and conditions that outline the agreement and expectations between the
coach and the client. The agreement will be discussed and signed before the first session.

You may cancel or reschedule a session with at least 48 hours notice. If less than 48 hours
notice is given, you may be charged the applicable fee for the session.

YOUR SESSIONS

During a Life Coaching session, we start by checking-in and following up with your action
plan, which we will develop together during our first session. Next, we will determine what
you want to work on in the session and then we will dive in. We will close the session by
reviewing the action plan and seeing what needs to be completed next to keep you moving
forward with your goals.

Most clients prefer to meet once a week or every two weeks. This often depends on your
schedule and how much time you need in between sessions for reflection and task
completion. The frequency of contact increases and decreases based on your needs and the
problem and/or goal you are working through.

Most standard sessions run for one hour and can be adjusted based on your specific needs.

Coaching typically runs for 3 to 6 months in duration to achieve your desired results for most
goals.

Clients can complete a new client agreement once the original coaching program ends to
continue with their coaching sessions to set new goals as needed.
